yes sometimes it is best to move on but then again it never hurts to try... my boyfriend and i went through a phase where we would just fight almost everyday we had a lot of problems going on in the relationship but sometimes what a lot of couples tend to do is they stop communicating to each other and trust me you will never get anything solved like that talk to him .. tell him how you feel and also allow him to talk to you about his feelings and don't get mad at each other while doing this cause then that doesn't help anything kinda defeats the whole purpose so sit down have a long talk and talk about the good times yall had with each other... and try to work things out but go with your gut instinct 99.9% your gut instinct will be right:) good luck!!!

Yes, you can try to talk to someone and see how they feel... but you can't force someone to love you. You can trust your good instincts, but if things don't work like you anticipate, hope or desire, that it is when it is best to move on. Also, I don't necessarily agree that your gut instinct "will be right." Sometimes our guts are filled with toxic substances {good feelings that don't match reality, and bad feelings that do}.... I don't necessarily believe that it will be wrong either... sometimes are guts are filled with honey {nostalgic or happy feelings, real or imagined}... Your feelings are yours, and your ex-boyfriend's feelings are his. Its important to know this, not just from a logical perspective, but in your heart too. To fully take ownership of your own feelings, you have to accept the fact that other people may not feel the same way as you. This doesn't mean that a relationship isn't salvageable, though... but it also doesn't mean that you can't decide to move on... but, that decision has to be yours. Sometimes this happens gradually, sometimes it happens quickly. [By the way, many guys have a problem talking about their feelings because they don't always fully understand why they feel a certain way, or even what they are feeling... Some guys are more in touch with their emotions than others, but you just have to know which type of guy your ex is.] If you are desperate, it is probably better to understand that this is not true love... desperation for reconciliation is a selfish motive to attempt a relationship. When reconciliation is no longer a factor, moving on is a better option... when reconciliation may be possible, you can try to communicate, but you can't get a wall to talk you... if he talks, fine... if not, search your heart, and search your motives. Try to talk, if he is willing... if not, then look deeper. By the way, moving on, doesn't have to mean "look for a new relationship." I am learning who I am outside of a relationship, becoming a full person... Everyone is different... so search your feelings, yes... but also whether you reconcile or not, the best piece of advice I can give you is for you to make sure that you find your complete self, whether you are in a relationship or not.
