Well before the first frost, dig it up, place it in a pot with enough room for the root ball, make sure it has a support for the vines, prune it back by 1/3, and sit it in the shade for about a week. Once it is used to its new pot, move it indoors to a sunny location. Water it only when it needs it and include a water soluble fertiliser at 1/2 strength.

Otherwise consider it an annual.
