both Neg to body(ground), Pos to Pos .. keeps 12 volts, higher amperage -=TWiG=-
Assuming you have an older vehicle with points, the wire from the distributor goes to the neg side of the coil.

Use a jumper wire from the battery + (pos) terminal to the positive on the blower motor, and run a - (Ground) wire from ground on the motor, to chassis or frame.
cut the back speaker wire going to one of the rear speakers.. take the pos and neg into the amp.. if the amp only takes RCA inputs you will need to buy a line level converter.. turns pos neg into RCA.. also you must wire up a switch for turning the amp on.. just a 12volt source works
The resister cuts the voltage to 6v.. in run pos,Will send 12v to coil in start pos.
Usually the first thing that I would check is a bad ground of the coil itself. Now if that does not work then you should let a professional do this but it is an old trick, but power up the coil manually by grounding the bottom of it to the car and then taking a wire from the pos side of the battery touch the batt post of the cap. You olny need to do this for a second. Then take the wire away from the battery and DO NOT TOUCH THE CENTER OF THE CAP!!!! but ground out the top of the cap. YOU WILL SEE A SPARK!!! if you do not then more than likely the cap is breaking down and not holding a charge. A coil not sparking could be many things like a ignition module it could be the crankshaft possition sensor or camshaft position sensor
First find the coil it should be close to the distributor you will have two little screw post on the Coil it self. If you will look real good it will have a pos + terminal and the other post will be your neg - terminal the coil will be sitting in a grounded holder.I hope this will help you find what your looking for.fatdaddy466
The starter solenoid has two small posts, one marked "S" the other marked "R". There should be a small purple wire in the harness that attaches to the "S" post and a small yellow wire that goes to the "R" post. The positive battery feed attaches to the large post. The coil should have a small black wire coming from the distributor attached to the post marked "neg" on the coil. The pos side of the coil should have a small yellow wire and a resister type wire attached. The resister wire has a white cloth like covering.
remove resistor from loop positive to positive terminal neg to neg
The pos wire to the dist side of the coil and the neg wire. Gray Lamp wire to lamp plug at the top of the fuse box in the lamps plug. The top hole is for a light with a grey wire like your dash lights, the connector right below it should have a brown wire to your coil or hei(tach side) .the last lowest connector is a black and pink wire that goes to power and connects to the fuse box
its better to get one amp for you sub then 2 because your going to have to spend more money with wiring and stuff. But if you really wanna do it you have to wire one voice coil to the other one and same for the other amp but if you have one voice coil you have to split the wiring into 2 neg and 2 pos then wire upto amp. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
