The black wires are the heater wires, the white wire is the signal wire and the green is the ground wire.
http://www.boschautoparts.com/NR/rdonlyres/3BB8A8FA-C707-4333-9098-727C01AF4B7D/0/OxygenSensorInstall.pdf This should help out. At the bottom of the PDF is a wiring guide for bosch sensors, Competitors, and OE harnesses. The guide is from bosch, it should work well. You will notice the GEO has a different stock harness than is typical.
get the right oxygen sensor
Saab used heated oxygen sensors on this year car. There is a heated Bosch Universal sensor that will fit; you cut the plug off your old one and wire it to the new sensor. If you mean "how can I replace the sensor on my car with the $15 version that doesn't have a heater on it?"...unless you really like check-engine lights you can't. The car's computer will notice the sensor isn't talking to the heater circuit, assume the sensor's burned out, and start throwing codes all over the place.
where is the iat sensor on my Mazda 6 located and does anyone have a pic to compare
need to know what wire go were for a 94 Mazda protege MAF sensor
bosch 15716 and bosch 15718 are the same exact sensor, the difference is the length of the wiring the 15718 has a longer wire. Both sensors would go before the catalytic converter. 15717 goes after.
Near the intake manifold, a small plug and wire sticks out on the pipe.
The sensor is threaded into the head to the left of the thermostat housing and has a single wire connector on it. Thanks Malcolm
look where your oil filter spins on it will be next to it it screws in and has a wire pluged on it.
you have 2 , look at your exhaust manifold there should be something sticking out with wire or wire going to a plug, there is another on your catalytic converter.
i used a universal bosch it worked though its a pain to do yourself it hasn't set a code but i am going to put a regular ac delco o2 sensor back in my Pontiac because i now have a rough idle and the o2 sensor was all i changed which tells me it worked but it didnt work good enough to smooth the idle i changed the one if the manifold out so i would stay away from universal sensors as for the colors on the wires they stand for different thing i.e power, ground, etc. but if you want to change your sensors have a good look at the original you pulled out or just look at it while its hooked up note the amount of wires how long the wire(s) are how thick they are and just replace it with a new factory one or an aftermarket one that is almost identical will work id try for stock tho sucks to do things more than once!
