Well first you have to find out what is wrong with the horn and than fix the problem, could be loose wires, horn could be bad, the wires could have rusted. your best bet is to cut the wires, unbolt the horn and hook up a brand new one and then put some wire nuts on there and if that dont work than your wiring is bad.
The 1992 Chevrolet truck horn is located in the front of the engine compartment. The horn will be on the right hand side of the radiator.
To new of truck to have bad horn ..not unless you have serious road rage??If not try checking fuse first,then follow wires from horn to fire wall mite be a relay(little black box).. If no relay built in to horn and just un screw it an has 2 wires pos. & grnd....... Hope that helps
Check the contacts first to make sure they contacts. If they do, test horn.
If the horn does not work in the 1998 Chevy Prism and the vehicle was purchased used in this condition, it is quite possible that the previous owner cut the horn wires to stop the annoying security alarm. It is also possible that the fuse for the horn is blown.
Inproper polarity on horn wires. or horn relay bad. Ensure voltage (12VDC) on horn wire when activating horn. If nothing... suspect relay.
The horn is located just behind the Chevy emblem on the front grill. Removing the top bolts from the grill will allow you to access the bracket that holds the horn in place. Be careful not to break the electrical connector when removing the horn.
Make sure the 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier horn fuse is in working condition. Make sure the positive and ground wires on the horn are tight and free of corrosion.

The 1994 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck horn fuse can be found in the fuse box. The horn fuse will be in the second column, fifth from the bottom.
