In almost every instance, a tenant cannot affirm their own residency. The exception to this would be through the provision of evidentiary documentation, e.g., copy of lease, copy of telephone bill, gas bill, electric, etc.

Dear Sir,

In response to your request for proof of residence, I am replying with the following documentation:

a) A copy of my tenant lease

b) A copy of my electric bill

c) A copy of my telephone bill

d) The contact details for my landlord, who does not, by policy, provide written confirmations of tenancy.

I hope you will find the above to be acceptable. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
