Mac
1. Launch Garageband and select "New Project" in the upper left-hand corner. Create the title for your new song and adjust the tempo and key in which you want to make the song in.
2. Once the screen loads for your new song, click the plus symbol in the lower left hand corner of the screen. This will create a new track
3. Decide if you want to use either the built in keyboard or your own MIDI keyboard, select "Software Instrument". If you want to record yourself, click "Real Instrument".
4. If you're using the software instrument, go to the bottom left of the page and click on the eye icon. This should lead to a menu with all the types of music you can use.
If you're using the real instrument, the round red button is the record button.
5. Using Loops: Loops are the easiest way to create a professional-sounding song without much work. Drag a loop from the menu onto the main part to create a new track. You can then add more loops of the same instrument to this track. To make a new track, repeat. 1 track = 1 instrument.
6. Add loops of the same key and similar rhythms for a better sound.
7. Go to Share > Export to export the file. Then you can add the file to iTunes. Find how to use this in the external link.

Yes, GarageBand includes a variety of virtual instruments and loops, including saxophone sounds. Users can access these through the software's built-in library, allowing them to incorporate sax music into their projects. Additionally, GarageBand provides options for recording live saxophone performances if you have access to the instrument.
Garageband is great for recording songs with live instruments. It is awful at notating music though. Its does have a pretty good midi interface but the notating is pretty limited. If you are looking to write scores and music Sibelius is much better. I have only used a demo of Sibelius, but still, it lets you do just about anything with the notation. It also allows you to play back what you've written as well.
Garageband really :/ thats the best i know
