How do you you remove the sunroof from a 1977 vw bug for replacement?

Remove the front carry roller tabs by drilling out the rivets that hold the right and left slider tracks in place. Move the unit back into the top and disconnect all linkage on one side, Repeat other side. Roll sunroof sideways and it will come on out. I need to find some sealing gaskets for this same part, so if you know of any vendor that sells them, I would appreciate it.

You will need a Speaker Adapter to mount an aftermarket 6.5" speaker. Or you may use a factory replacement speaker. The adapter that I found was a Scosche SAVW6.
