Moduflex dual valve combines two, 4-way valves into one valve body, it features two independently operated valves in the Size 1 valve body. :)
Plumb them in a series, the "out" from the 1st valve to the "in" of the second valve then the "out" from the second valve to return.
The idle air control valve is located on the throttle body, and the EGR valve is located on the intake manifold.
Remove the vacuum hose from the EGR valve. Pull the valve out of the air cleaner housing. Reverse the process to install the new valve.
On my 1997 Protege a hose runs from the valve cover to the air intake assembly. Where the hose connects to the valve cover is the PCV valve.
Should be on the air compressor for the suspension. Under the hood on the drivers side just behind the battery is the compressor. The black cylinder with 4 air lines coming from it (these may be covered by black split-loom) is the air dryer. Look under that for the valve. It looks like a tire valve. Remember: the air bag solenoids must be open for this fill technique to work. (Key - on, Air suspension - on) If the Check Suspension light is on, the system is off.
clean or replace your idle air control valve.
The Air Bypass valve location is shown on the vacuum schematic decal on the bottom front of the hood. Take off the 2 or 4 bolts holding the plastic engine cover and pop off the cover. You'll then see your vacuum hoses leading to the valve. There are 2 or 3 - 1/4 inch hoses leading to the base of the valve and one or two 3/4 inch hoses attached to the valve itself
This is not a forum for Valve technical assistance. I would check with their website forums for help.
The number is four ways in and out of oil. Way valves in the hydraulic system with a number of ways in and out of the way oil and positioning are introduced. For example, two-position four-way valve.
No air release. there is a high presure and a low pressure valve, these are used for filling refrigerant, checking pressures, and evacuating the system.
