oil from the tappets running back into the valley
Not sure, i would say oil pump or cam bearings
Low oil pressure. CHECK with oil pressure gauge. Worn valvetrain / Lifters are cam lobes worn. stoped up oil pump screen. Cam bearings worn. These are a few things you need to check.
It depends if you have enough doom to pull oil pan out if not you have to pull motor
Yes cam bearings can spin and block the oil gallery holes, therefore stoping oil from getting to the top of the engine.
I would use SAE 10w30 full synthetic.
Typical of worn bearings....crank, cam and rod bearings.
There is no "oil cam sensor". There is a oil pressure sensor and a cam sensor, but they are two different sensors.
no
1976 Chevy 350 engine should take 5 qts engine oil with filter change.
how to install the oil pressure gauge on a Chevy 350 small block
It is inside the oil pan. There is a shaft that connects the oil pump to the bottom end of the distributor shaft. The cam shaft then turns both of them as it rotates. You'll have the remove the oil pan to get to it. I hope that this helps.
The distributor and the oil filter.
