no gasket is used
head gasket is blown
You either need a head gasket or intake gasket.
Of course, there is no other way to get at the pump.
valve cover gasket
Yes it can. If you look at the fuel pump you will see a medal plate that bolts to the engine block and the fuel pump sets against that plate. The plate and the fuel pump both have a gasket on them that stops oil from leaking out of the engine block. You also need to check the fuel pump, There is a small hole in the side of the pump that can leak oil out of it. If it is leaking you will need to replace the pump. Check the pump for oil leak while the engine is running.
NO you do not. That is what the o-ring is for. If you use sealer it will wind up in the oil and that is Not good.
Your fuel pump is most likely the cause.
It is bolted to the rear main cap on the bottom of the engine. You will have to remove the oil pan to get to the oil pump.
thats not a question but they do make them and summitracing.com sells them. Randy
