Because it is so long and narrow and runs from north to south, Chile is able to experience all types of climates and terrains.

Agriculture can be grown in central Chile because of the Fertile Cresent they have there.

An important part of the economy that probably most benefits from Chile's diverse geography is its tourism. Thanks to the geographical variation, tourists have the opportunity to do a range of options. The mountains ranges provide skiing and the coastline allows a nice day on the beach. Tourists can also see a range of sites throughout the country such as the amazing volcanoes and lakes that run along the south.
