When users type in a question on WikiAnswers, they are presented with a range of questions already existing on this site similar to the one they have just asked. If they believe their question is the same as one of these choices, it is added to the 'Other users have said this is the same as...' list of redirects. This prevents the duplication of questions asking the same thing in a different way.
If your question is how to get a list of any specific question's alternative wordings, you'll see a link on the left, under Advanced Tools. If you're asking if you can get a massive data dump of everything, then unfortunately the answer is no, that data is not available to the public.
In an answer to a question all punctuation marks are possible, but in a question on WikiAnswers the only punctuation that is allowed are apostrophes and question marks.
On the English site, English words that address the topic and focus of the question. For any other the other WikiAnswers language sites, the language of that site is best. See the related question below.
Since WikiAnswers is a Wiki, the authors of WikiAnswers are the community. Users from all over the globe contribute questions, answers, and other necessary clean-up to WikiAnswers whether registered or anonymous. In other words, there are millions of editors and authors on WikiAnswers who contribute daily. There is no single editor or author of the questions and answers on WikiAnswers; you could say that WikiAnswers is "authored" by its community of visitors. As WikiAnswers contributors, we ask and answer each other's questions. The contributors of an answer to a question can be found on the question page, which lists the most recent answerer only. For a complete listing of all those who contributed to an answer, view the "Question history" for any Q&A located on the toolbar to the left of the question under "Question tools."
WikiAnswers, like any other question website, is free for anyone to contribute to, and so of course cannot guarantee the accuracy of every answer. However, the answers on WikiAnswers are free for anyone to look at and they have helped many times.
If you see a duplicate question on WikiAnswers, please change the question wording to the other. You will then get a message that says "The question [First question] already exists as a redirect to [Second question]. Recommend that this be merged." Click "recommend that this be merged" and the request will be reviewed.
