One of the most popular passages in The Bible is Nehemiah 8:10: "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
Why is joy important? Because the "joy of the Lord is your strength!" Joy produces strength. And strength is needed to fight. You are called to "fight the good fight of faith" (1 Timothy 6:12). I sense in my spirit that many people in the body of Christ are tired of fighting the good fight of faith. They are struggling to fight because they have lost their joy
Usually, when a person was elevated in rank to become a lord, it was because of something he had done for which a king was grateful, or, perhaps, just because the king liked him.
Sometimes the person who elevated a person to nobility was not a king. Sometimes a person could have been adopted by someone of lesser nobility, and laws on this varied from one place to another.
There were cases of people simply deciding they were lords. For example if someone became rich and powerful enough to build a castle on a river, and could regulate commerse along the river, he could claim to be lord of the area. If no one was able to throw him out over a period of time, the title became established. There are people who believe the Hohenzollern family became lords in this way (there is no record of how they became lords).
Owen Tudor and his family might serve as an example. He was not a lord, but he was related to the old royal family of Wales, which had long been out of power. He became important because he was a household steward for Queen Catherine of Valois, wife of Henry V of England. After Henry V died, Owen Tudor secretly married Catherine, it is said (no proof exists and the marriage would have been of questionable legality in any event).
One of their six children was a man named Edmund Tudor, who served at the court of King Henry VI. Henry VI, as the son of Henry V and Catherine, was his half-brother, and seems to have liked Edmund Tudor well enough to make him the 1st Earl of Richmond.
Edmund Tudor had a son named Henry who became the 2nd Earl of Richmond. When King Henry VI died, the nation went into chaos and civil war over succession, and when that war ended, it was Henry Tudor, 2nd Earl of Richmond, who emerged as king. This man, Henry VII, was the founder of the Tudor dynasty, which included his son, Henry VIII, and three grandchildren who became English monarchs, Edward VI, Mary I, and Elizabeth I.
So in the first generation was Owen Tudor, a commoner with royal connections, in the second we have Edmund, an earl, and in the third we have Henry VII, King of England.

I think these are the lyrics: What you really want is not a God at all, Just an idol picture ignored upon your wall, Not a person who loves and really cares, Just a self-made God who leaves you hangin there. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today. What you really want is to be let alone, Wandering aimlessly, no purpose and no home, What you don't know is that you [have a name], But I can't tell you that as long as you play games. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today. What you really want is something you don't know, Your search is endless, no matter where you go, 'Til you're still and I can have my way, you'll be empty, for love is to obey. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today.
