Get to a healthy weight is your priority. This should at least get you a 2-pack. Do this by always eating vegetables and fruit, and eating less meat. Or just become a vegetarian (like me). Then work out on your abs- push ups, planks, and 6 inches. Get a CONSTANT workout schedule. This works out your abs better than inconstantly doing a huge number of abs only 4 times a week.
Sit up and crunches don't do anything to get rid of that layer of fat covering your abs. They just make those muscles bigger which in fact will make your stomach BIGGER! The only way to get washboard abs is...... 3 things, first don't eat those foods people call "healthy foods" they usually increase body fat, the answer to that is not to starve yourself but to not change your diet a lot but just to eat a little more saturated fat, now this may come as a shock to you because your body wants to get rid of that "bad fat" so bad you sweat more and will get rid of more than just that fat it will burn that and some regular fat, but don't go overboard because your body cant burn it real real fast just faster.
The best exercise is ......running, mainly because it is the only exercise that works your entire body and make you sweat. Lastly, after you have gotten rid of your fat, that's when you want to start doing sit ups, crunches and leg lifts because only then is when you want to make your abs bigger. now these tips are not off an infomercial, to be honest its simple science.
If you are 10-13 and want to get abs. The best ways are to do crunches, pull ups, and mountain bike riding...... mountain bike riding works great for working your legs, arms, and stomach. It is probably the one I recommend the most. I go on 6 mile bike trails 2-3 times a week. It's a good work out.
Eat right, exercise right. There's no quick way to do it. You'll look good, although your abs will look way better when puberty kicks in your serious muscle development at about age 13 -15.
I am 12 years old and i do alot of cross country running and track running i have a six pack i do not go to the gym after every training i do 30 crunches and sit ups then the plank until i cant hold it any longer and then some leg lifts i repeat this 3 times a week i am currently u13 northern Ireland and ulster champion
She shouldn't be trying. To get a (visible) 6-pack, you need to work off almost all the fat from under the skin. Trouble is, we're meant to have some of that. It's our padding, our insulation, our energy reserve. Work it all off and you're likely to get sick more often, feel tired and cold. And for a girl, not get much in the way of breasts. They are mainly fat in case you didn't know.
i being a 12 year old with an 8-pack got it by having a low amount of fat and exercisesing my whole body

There's a sort of Truth About Abs "Lite" version for free, that you can find on the web called Insider Secrets for a Lean Body written by the author of Truth about Six Pack Abs. It is a good way to start the program.

The way to know whether or not you are getting a 6 pack is to look at your abs. If you can see muscle lines and definition, you might in fact be getting a 6 pack.
No he doesn't :)
A great exercise for abs that almost anyone can do is simply walking. Walking strengthens the core muscles and all the muscle groups. Another great exercise is doing squats.
