- Tell them what you have learned about it.
- Show them that you really want it.
- Tell them that you think you're old enough, and that you'll be responsible for anything that happens.
- Don't make threats that if they don't, you do "this, this, and that". Be polite and patient.
- Promise you'll do more things for them if they let you get it.
also tell them that you will pay for it yourself that always works :)
