there is no such thing as an egr position sensor
The EGR position sensor is located on top of the EGR valve. Has an electrical connector attached.
The egr position sensor is part of the EGR valve. On a 5.7L it is on the pass front, on a 4.7L it is on the driver rear.
The EGR position sensor is on the top of the EGR valve. The valve is on the front, passenger side of the engine.
The PCM controls the EGR valve, so the EGR position sensor tells the PCM what position the EGR valve is in, so it can control the EGR valve and ake other necessary adjustments.
The egr position sensor is part of the egr vavle.
The egr position sensor is part of the valve. It does not have a flow sensor.
The egr position sensor is on the egr valve which is above the alternator on the passenger side of the engine.
It is part of the EGR valve.
An EGR (Exhaust Gas Re-circulation) valve position sensor sends a signal to the ECM (Engine Control Module) what the EGR valve position is. This is to confirm that the EGR has responded to a command sent from the ECM.
a pintle position sensor tell the engine computer what the exact position of the egr valve is
Unless the EGR position sensor is shorting out the 5V reference, NO. If you suspect the sensor, simply unplug it & see if the starts.
