An EGR (Exhaust Gas Re-circulation) valve position sensor sends a signal to the ECM (Engine Control Module) what the EGR valve position is. This is to confirm that the EGR has responded to a command sent from the ECM.
It is on the throttle body, opposite of where the cables attach.
The throttle position sensor is the three wire sensor on the throttle body opposite of where the cables attach.
The EGR position sensor is on the top of the EGR valve. The valve is on the front, passenger side of the engine.
The crankshaft position sensor is on the top rear of the transmission bell housing.
The egr position sensor is part of the valve. It does not have a flow sensor.
It is on the top rear of the bell housing.

The egr position sensor is on the egr valve which is above the alternator on the passenger side of the engine.
The message is "gascap". Check to see if the gas cap is not tightened properly.
The cam sensor on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country is on the passenger side top of the engine next to where the motor mount bracket attaches.
It is located on the timing chain cover.
