the heather control valve in in the engine bay. It has 2 hoses going into it, 2 hoses going out and into the heater matrix. When you turn your heater on you will need the Heater control valve to get hot air. If your HCV is faulty you will not get any hot air from your fans (inside the car)
This is common item in a fiesta to go and replacing it is a piece of cake! even if your new to mechanics...
also if your fan speed only works on '4' (highest speed) it means your resistor Is gone (another common fault) Resister is secured by 1 screw, its under the passengers dash, and has 1 cable going into it. Its about the size of a 'sushi'

If your not getting any hot air in the car it will be the control valve, its about 28 quid. very common failure

Does the fan work? if not, check fuses. if does work, check coolant level first. Next, check heater valve in engine compartment, on fire wall, has ~ 1 inch hoses connected between the engine and to the heater core inside the passenger side. Have someone turn temperature knob inside car and observe cable on Heater Valve is moving. (Can be simple as the screw on top of heater valve loose or cable maybe stuck). Heater valve can be stuck closed. Check hose gets hot between valve and heater core.
