I AM PRESENTLY TRYING TO WORK ON MY 94 T BIRD IGNITION SWITCH SO FAR NOTHING HAS WORKED . MY KEY WOULD NOT GO IN THE IGNITION AT ALL SO WE HAVE TRIED TO BANG IT AND PRESENTLY WE ARE DRILLING IT OUT SO FAR NOTHING WILL WORK UNLESS YOU CAN GET THE KEY IN THE INGITION THEN YOU ARE ALL GOOD YOU CAN THEN TURN THE KEY TO THE ASSCESORRY POSTION OR THE ON POSTION AND THEN THERE IS A LITTLE HOLE UNDER THE HOUSING WHICH YOU NEED TO GET A PUNCH TO BANG ON THAT LITTLE HOLE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THEN YOU BANG THE HOLE THE IGNITION SHOULD SLIDE RIGHT OUT. OTHER THAN THAT IF YOU HAVE NO KEY? IM STILL WORKING ON THAT BYE.

The Key hole is an emergeny shift system in case there is a brake pedal failure in the car you stick the key in that hole to shift out of park without applying the brake first
It's the thumb key hole in the back and that key right above the first key hole in the front hold those at the same time to get the "A" sound
Try spraying some powdered graphite into the ignition key hole and rubbing some on the key itself. If that does not work the tumbler assembly may need replacing.
