Recording vital signs, administering medication, drawing blood , blood and fluid analysis, assisting with surgical procedures... the list goes on. Aside from generally making the patients comfortable, the majority of a nurse's technichal responsibilities involve some area of science, such as Biology or chemistry.
Nursing involves chemistry, since you have to know what is in different kinds of medicine and how they react to each other. Obviously anatomy because you need to know where all the different internal organs and whatnot are and what they do. Biology because a nurse would need to know how cells grow, change, and repair themselves so that wounds or illness in the body can heal properly. Nursing is pretty much all science.
Nursing is related to science because of the use of chemistry and biology. A nurse has to understand the body and how it works. That allows them to understand how medication will work with their body type.
Blood pressure meter, the uniform worn, hypodermic needles and syringes, medications, patient monitoring systems, the hospital building, if they visit patients at home the car they travel in, soaps and detergents, disinfectants, clipboards, paper, pens and/or pencils, electric lighting, plastics, etc.
well lets see ... oohh i got it! the stuff you learn in medical school {science} you use to treat and diagnose patients
Typically nurses use computer systems for their charting and administration of medication. They also use email a lot.
a teacher, scientist, doctor, or a nurse.
medical science.
MSN = Masters in the Science of Nursing. It means they are a nurse, not a doctor.
You need to have a good science background to become a nurse because just like a doctor a nurse needs to know what is wrong with their patient.
Applied Science.
A thermometer is used to find the temperature of something, being used in science or not.
A nurse needs a good science background because it invols chemistry .

it is a nurse who helps the other nurse by being an intern
Emergency Medicine
Opinions about biological warfare being a legitimate use of science will differ. It is my opinion that using science to hurt and destroy human beings, animals, the environment or anything at all is NEVER a legitimate use of science.
how far planets are each other and where they are . :)
