No matter its the same thing of an airfoil wing
A plane
No. By definition, A PLANE is a fixed-wing aircraft. The wings are absolutely necessary for lift.
Without wings a plane wont go. You do realize that this is an extremely dumb question.
Lift! The wings on a plane create an upward lift.
you can't really fly a plane, persay. there is a plane at the airport that has no wings you can get in, but it doesn't fly.
"I stepped onto the plane." "The plane took off into the air." "Is that your plane?" Etc. :)
Because it's speed generates lift on the wings.
wings, propellers ,engine , gravity
If they were flat they would generate no lift and birds could not fly. Aeroplane wings are very similar in shape to bird wings - they are nearly flat underneath and convex on top.
Cessna 402
While there have been some wingless "lifting body" experimental aircraft. All conventional airplanes get the the majority of their lift from their wings and cannot fly without them. No. By definition, A PLANE is a fixed-wing aircraft. The wings are absolutely necessary for lift.
Create a contraption you want, for example make a plane with wings. You use the fin tool to make props act like wings, so a flat planel will like to fly straight, adjust the settings in the menu and apply it to the prop you want to make fly. On a plane you'll only need to make the wings fly because they should support the aircraft itself, though sometimes you can make the whole contraption work with the fin tool (e.g. click on all of the props) to make the plane realistic.
