Well it starts with something in common. If you have someone who is outgoing then they would be with someone outgoing. Of course you do have the occasional opposites attract. For borderlines they are connected inside and out. They start with they have the diagnosis in common and in most cases the symptoms as well. I have borderline as well and I have been in a relationship with someone with the same disorder. It was great at first but then the relationship went sour when I couldn't make her happy anymore because as a borderline we struggle with being happy because of chronic feelings of emptiness.We also strugglewith chronic feelings of being a failure so if we can't make the other person happy we feelemptywith feelings of being a failure. The relationship with becomescodependent.It's a very dangerous situation because in some cases it's like the Romeo and Juliet ending.
