Just like a garage door opener or a remote on the TV. Each car is set to a certain radio frequency for the controller that powers the locks and alarm and starter in some cars. When you push the button on the key pad it sends a signal to your car telling it to lock or unlock or start the car from a distance. Each car has its own frequency so that it will not open anyone else's car.
it just works
= This works fine.=
A car remote uses radio waves to communicate with the vehicle's receiver, which then unlocks the doors and allows the engine to start. The remote sends a unique code that matches the code programmed into the car's system, enabling the vehicle to recognize and respond to the remote's signal.
It uses electricity of cell, battery, plugs and etc
RC cars are controlled by controllers of a designated frequency of radio waves. To control a RC car, you must have a controller that the RC car has a paired frequency with. A universal RC controller is non existant.
If you mean the remote keyless entry, try pushing both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote at the same time for several seconds. Do this while near the car. If it works, you should hear a click from the car locks.
remote car starer easyer
some car alarms have a backup battery in them. thses batteries if worn out can stop the alarm working.also sometimes the battery in the remote needs replacing to work
You can control the car by remote AP1

The obvious answer is the one the Jeep sells at its dealerships parts department.
