∙ 11y agoThere are a few methods. Biomass can simply be burned and the heat generated by the burning of biomass boils water, and then steam produced off that will turn a turbine to produce energy.
It is possible to convert the biomass to other forms, such as ethanol, syn-gas or bio-oil but these are large topics that can be researched if you are interested. These fuels can be burned and used in their own way to produce electricity in plants.
