Biotechnology changes the "normal" rules of plant reproduction because to increase food production or protect existing crops and trees, they clone and use other techniques to produce plants that have the best characteristics of the original

Asexual Reproduction
The answer is reproduction.
The reproduction of a plant from a single plant, without the formation of haploid cells. (Many plants that use sexual reproduction contain both the male and female organs.)
During sexual reproduction in a flowering plant microspores produce four haploid microspores. This is what happens in the reproduction of angiosperms.
the plant biotechnology is that in which techniques are used as in animal and produce new and best plant specises.

Reproduction from plant parts is basically cloning, which means that the new individual will be genetically identical with its parent. If circumstances (weather)would change beyond what th parent plant can cope with, the plant would die out. Sexual reproduction means each new plant is a (different) mix of the characteristics of both parents, making it possible for the species to adapt to changes in the environment.
You would need a bachelors of science in Plant Biotechnology, where you would study the genetic structure and mechanism of various plants. You might want to get a Graduate certificate in plant biotechnology so you would increase your chances of getting a job in this field.

Meiosis is a special type of cell division necessary for sexual reproduction in eukaryotes. It is to make sperm and egg cells in animals and most of the plant cells, generally known as Gametocytes/spores(in plants)

Plant biotechnology is a powerful tool for agriculture and the field is gaining momentum quickly. Plant BT has a lot of financial potential. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that anyone would try and invent something that will overthrow plant BT
Asexual Reproduction
It is an example of asexual reproduction. A bit of one plant is taken and then grown. The new plant is genetically identical to the original
insert genes that produce anti-insect chemicals into the plant !
