well the people that are being bullied may get very quiet around people and feel like they are horrible people. Really it all depends on what the bully is doing or saying to that person.

Is it possible for someone to be depressed 2 years after getting out of high school and could past bullying affect their social life after that time?

It is entirely possible for past bullying to affect one's daily life. If you never got help for the bullying, it could leave emotional scars that may never fully heal. You may feel as though you cannot trust anyone and the slightest aggressive action could result in bullying again. It is important for you to know that not everyone wants to bully you. You may still feel as though it's you versus the world, but there are people out there who really want to get to know you. You don't have to go out of your comfort zone, and if you feel someone is making you uncomfortable, tell them. Remember that you shouldn't feel pressured into telling people about your past bullying. If you feel the problem is greatly affecting your life, you may want to consider getting a therapist.
