I would think so since it was outlawed. I would think the owners of the company thought it to be right. Lewis Carroll wrote Alice in wonderland as a protect against child labor. In the book the characters are telling Alice "hurry up Alice "He thought that children were being rush through childhood and into adulthood. I would look up debates on child labor. Good luck.
