Cutting down oxygen producing rainforest effect the atmosphere by climate change no way to keep heat away during the day and keeping the forest warm at night. Also decreases precipitation tress hold a lot of water around it roots which is evaporated into the sky and later causes it to rain.

Fewer trees means a locally warmer and drier atmosphere. It can also have an impact on the chemical balance of the atmosphere, increasing carbon dioxide and reducing oxygen in the short term.

How does cutting down trees affect environment?

our air gets polluted. Oxygen decreases.

How does logging and cutting down trees affect global warming in Los Angeles?

Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air. They store the carbon and release the oxygen. They do this during all the time they are growing. Logging and cutting down trees means they are not taking carbon dioxide from the air. Because carbon dioxide is the major greenhouse gas causing global warming, cutting down trees increases the warming. Global warming means 'all over the world'. So cutting down trees in Indonesia will affect the warming in Los Angeles. Cutting down trees in Los Angeles will affect global warming in Djakarta.

How does cutting of forest mindlessly leading us towards your extinction?

We need the trees for oxygen. and when you get rid of the trees they cant take in the carbon from the air and give off oxygen.

What are some of the problems due to cutting down trees?

Cutting down trees do not only affect us but also the enviroment. By less trees being around more co2 is left hanging in the air. We should all think about what we are doing and help recycle.

How does man create disturbance in biosphere?

man create disturbance in Biospere by : polluting the air , cutting the trees and cutting the trees

What do you feel in the forest?

What i feel in the forest is flowers, air trees, and the grass.

Does cutting down trees increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the air?

Cutting down trees does increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the air because trees take the carbon monoxide in the air and turn it into oxygen in a process called photosynthesis. Without as many trees then there is going to be more carbon dioxide in the air.

Trees are known as the lungs of the earth How is it being destroyed?

trees give you air but people are cutting down them as we get paper we lose air and lots of trees are dying

Does cutting down trees increase the amount of water vapor in the air?

Cutting trees reduces the amount of moisture (and oxygen) in the state. If you spend much time in WV in the summer, you will find the air moving in the woods to be cooler and feel much more moist to the skin. If you are in a hollow and the air is sweeping up the hollow, in dense forest, it's down-right cold. Goose-bumps for sure!

What are some benefits to cutting only some trees and not all trees?

Trees give off oxygen and clean the air

Does cutting down trees decrease the amount of water vapor in the air?

no

Does cutting down trees reduce the amount of moisture in the air?

Cutting down trees reduces the amount of moisture in the air, as well as the amount of rainfall. This is because air passing over forests picks up moisture given off by trees and plants, fueling rains.
