There is two ways faith can effect human behavior: The good side: * Having faith in a Supreme being gives you the strength to go on, to experience the beauty around you. It gives purpose and meaning to life. It teaches you good vs evil. It helps you to be the best you can be and above all, no matter what your fight against evil is, or how lonely one may get they seldom ever feel totally alone when they have a strong faith. Therefore, by having a good understanding of faith in a Supreme Being humans are kind to others, giving, loyal and not afraid to stand up for the rights of good where others dare not. The bad side: * Too many wars are started over religion and it's been going on for centuries. Religion is suppose to bring peace and not war. * Some people interpret The Bible too strictly and can beat their spouses, children because they literally take what was said in the Old Testament and twist it to suit themselves. There are many crimes associated with religion. Husbands murdering sole families in the name of religion to mistreating their children or wives. Jim Jones was one of them. Taffy Faye and her husband scammed the public and on and on it goes. Now Benny Hinn is on the chopping block and there has been a forensic audit done on him. * Not enough children are sent to Sunday Schools to learn about their religion (whatever that religion may be) to teach them good from evil, to grow in strength from their Supreme Being and be an asset to society. We are all tools in this world either to cause problems, or resolve problems and to either harm others or help them. Each individual has that choice and they know that instinctively even if they aren't really into a religion. There is evil in this world, but believe it or not (even if it doesn't feel like it to many people) goodness and mercy are winning. No one will ever change the faith someone has or abolish religious beliefs because they have been with us for thousands of years. People WILL fight to keep what they believe in and it's every man, woman and child's right to believe in the religious beliefs they are brought up on (if at all.)
"Faith" has various meanings; you should first clarify which meaning you are referring to.In a religious context, one meaning often used is "to believe without evidence".
This is evidently NOT a good thing, since you could use the same faith to believe ANYTHING.
With regards to your question, praising such "faith" as a GOOD thing (which is something many religions do) can make a person more vulnerable to believing things which simply aren't true.
You need to answer this question question because it is asking for an opinion.

The Hawthorne effect is a phenomenon where individuals modify their behavior because they are aware of being observed. This can lead to changes in behavior or performance that may not be reflective of their true capabilities or habits. The effect was first observed during a series of experiments conducted at the Western Electric Hawthorne Works in the 1920s and 1930s.
