If we don't learn our history, we are bound to repeat it.
Artists, painters and sculptors and builders, are usually contracted, to be eternal recorders of History. Statues for instance record wars and events no matter how tragic, horrendous or glorious, their contribution is to stand as a strong reminder what has come before our time. So that it never happens again. Statues and murals tell a story good it bad without taking sides. The plaques underneath each can qualify the subject matter in its historic place, and isn’t perhaps what should change if necessary. And viewings of these statues and murals of course symbolize different things to different viewers, but they do not need to accomplish anything but an education of what once happened. To view one is to see an imprint in time. We can not erase history nor should we try. Removing these important recordings of history in one emotional swell of Now, will only last for awhile. And the generations after us will not know them at all- Will not know the triumphs or horrible mistakes that the depicted individuals or groups made in History. So most certainly the mistakes will be tragically repeated eventually as times are cyclical, high and low, like the swings of a pendulum. It’s therefore extremely dangerous to remove symbols of the history of anything- especially that of African American Blacks and their terrible oppression and slavery. “Man should not ignore History, or he is destined to repeat it.” This has happened.
slavery civil war . . .
It helps us to remember black people and that they should be treated equally and stuff, also that slavery is no-more and that this is a good thing. personally i think abolishing slavery was an almighty good thing, it was very, very bad for all people concerned.

I do believe the abolishment of slavery in history is when the president signed a bill that freed the majority if not all African -American slaves. This particular statement tells that Slavery should no longer be in an existence in the United States of America, due to the US Constitution.
Slavery has been with us throughout history and is still with us today. in both the poor and moslem countries and in the wealthy nations where they are used in the sex industry to name but one industry.
Because without coins the empires would not get bombs and all
If you can understand all the trends and mistakes humans have made, history can help us by preventing making the same ones. We could understand how we do things and the purpose for doing them... read a lot of books and stay in school.
it can tell us how the land had formed over the years

Using a map helps us understand history by showing the geographical context of events, trade routes, historical boundaries, and the movement of people over time. Maps provide visual representation of how natural features, resources, and landscapes have influenced historical events and shaped civilizations. By analyzing maps, we can gain insight into the spatial relationships that have influenced historical developments.
=So as you see ,l=
It really doesn't help you. The men who wrote it were slave owners and it isn't until after the civil war that amendments were added.
How does literature help us understand
Pretty big. We don't have slavery anymore.
