What is the epistemological problem of African traditional world view?

The epistemological problem of the African world view is only a problem to people who are not Africans themselves. To say that there is a problem is to be unAfrican. What the Africans believe as knowledge is not disputed by Africans because they are of the same epistemology. What the question presupposes is that African knowledge differ from knowledge of other races. Africans know what they know as culture inherited from generation to generation. There is no nation on earth which has not received anything from its ancestors. The fact that Africans continue to live by the knowledge inherited from past generations is proof that their knowledge has no problem. If it had a problem the African race would be extinct.

How did the primary ideas of the four major Hellenistic philosophies differ from each other?

Cynicism taught that people should live simply and naturally, without disregard for pleasure, wealth, or social status. Skepticism taught that because the universe is always changing, all knowledge is uncertain. By accepting this fact, however, people can achieve peace of mind. Stoicism teaches the divine reason directs the world. Thus, people should accept their fate without complaint. Epicureanism teaches that the aim of life is to seek pleasure, and avoid pain. Epicurus said that people should limit their desires. This, he felt, was the best way to avoid suffering.

How did the basic philosophy of Aristotle differ that of Socrates and Plato?

Like his teacher Plato, Aristotle's philosophy aims at the universal. Aristotle, however, found the universal in particular things, which he called the essence of things, while Plato finds that the universal exists apart from particular things, and is related to them as their prototype or exempler. For Aristotle, therefore, philosophic method implies the ascent from the study of particular phenomena to the knowledge of essences, while for Plato philosophic method means the descent from a knowledge of universal forms (or ideas) to a contemplation of particular imitations of these.

In most places workers are covered by Workers' Compensation Laws. In return for not being able to sue their employers, they get relatively rapid compensation for work-related injuries and illnesses. Laws in different jurisdictions differ but generally, the only time an injured employee can sue an employer is when the employer intentionally caused the injury, or displayed "reckless disregard" for a hazard that resulted in injury.
