ok.
MagicJack is not bad. But be prepared for many issues that can arrise from the device. First of all this is a great little, easy to install setup for a quick phone system. You can actually disconnect your outside line, plug MagicJack in one of the RJ-11 phone jacks in your house, and then connect phones all over the house where you want them. It dials local and long distant numbers with just a small audio delay the end user is unaware of. Plus it is a real low cost VoIP phone with its own spcial mac address for the World Wide Web. But some problems are popping up in the system and in the technology. You pay for what you get. Many cases of poorly routed calls, and ornon-routed calls. The rpoblem with MagicJack and its line portability worries are that the local companies have had to deal with the complaints as well for non-connect calls. So the loacl companies have setup a system that lets the MagicJack owners know this by having them call MagicJacks area code 305 number to have you manually put the number in. This is not in all cases. And there are many complaints about numbers they can't dial. So then MagicJack has to go in and manually refresh the circuit line and crossconnect in the system. So MagicJack really needs to spend a little more money on thier backbone network to make this full proof. And work with the local carriers as well. They pretty much have shut them out the door in all this. Also one thing to note is this does not support 64bit windows systems. Your own your won with that one. Overall the price for problems still makes this an excellent buy. Well worth it!
