A liquid such as soda pop is very difficult to clean. I had to buy a new keyboard when I spilled a little soda on it and two of my keys stopped working. That was the turning point for me and I invested in a waterproof keyboard, and it has been the best investment. I no longer worry about my drink ruining my keyboard and cleaning it is a breeze.
Because you spilled it and it has been sitting there
TUrn off your computer , take out the battery , and unplug it . Try to clean out as much of the coke as you can. Leave the keyboard upside down if you have just a keyboard . But if you have a laptop turn it upside down with the screen open and put it in a position so that it looks like a triangle / pyramid.SO THE COKE WILL DRIAN OUT AND EVAPORATE EASIER) LET IT SIT LIKE THIS OVER NIGHT!! Just to let you know i spilled soda on my keyboard recently and did what i just told you and my computer still works perfectly but my keyboard is a little sticky but its wearing off so no big deal , anyways good luck: )
silicone spray did well for me. but i don't know what the long term effect on my keyboard will be. this is a desktop keyboard. laptop keyboard is a very different thing. silicone spray does protect rubber, etc as well as lubricate and is not conductive of electricity. so far, its worked very well.
Just look it up on Ebay, dude.

Yes, laptop skins made by manufacturer like styleflip.com are sticky. They are made with a low tack adhesive vinyl. This allows the skin to stick to your laptop without randomly coming off while make sure it will not damage your laptop when you decide to take the skin off.
You can try to use a warm slightly damp cloth and wipe the keyboard gently but getting as much of the coffee off as possible. Then turn the laptop over and lay on a towel to catch any excess liquid. If the keyboard becomes too sticky and the keys do not work any longer, you can order a replacement keyboard and find instructions about how to replace the keyboard online. If you are not comfortable with making the repair yourself, you can hire a local computer tech to do the job. On your own $20-$40. Pay someone to repair $75 and up.
To turn off sticky keys on Windows, go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, then toggle off the Sticky Keys switch. If you're using a Mac, go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Keyboard > Sticky Keys, then uncheck the Enable Sticky Keys option.
You have a horrible sticky mess to clear up
It is almost certainly a keyboard malfunction. Either the internal traces have been damaged, or the keys have become sticky and are pulling down neighboring keys with them.
Sticky is an adjective because it describes a noun, like a sticky surface.
Because the ingredients make it that way.
