You don't actually have to get in the dash. If it comes with a standard cassette like the Aussie model does then there is a nut holding it in a bracket attached to the dash framework at the back of the stereo. You can see and feel this if you crawl under the dash next to the pedals. You can easily get a spanner in there to undo the nut. Once undone gently push the old system out until it is possible to get a good hold of it from the front then gently slide it out. Took me 5 minutes to do on mine.
I have a 91 Accord and found out ( after removing almost the whole dash ) that there are 2 screws up behind the stereo....Basically laid on the floor with my legs up the seat and head under the dash to find it. Hope this helps :D
Check the driver's side under the dash. There should be a box there with the fuses in it.
Under the dash, behind the stereo. It will be on the right side. Under the dash, behind the stereo. It will be on the right side. Under the dash, behind the stereo. It will be on the right side.

dash light location on a 1999 hound accord V6
There are ways's to do it but it ALL HAS to be custom, no one currently makes a dash kit for this vehicle.
You must remove the front of the dash. Everything around the stereo. Very time consuming. Just remember where the parts and all the screws go when you go to put it back together. It is not that difficult. Good Luck.
buy the correct wiring harness for the car at a stereo shop along with a dash kit wire colors all match its really easy..
Fuse panel, under dash, drivers side. The panel may be behind a plastic lid.
it should be in the center dash right under the stereo but if u cant locate it their its going to be on the passenger side under the dash its the one not connected to anything. its probably blue and it has a lot of pins since its obd2 hope u find it!
u have to take all the dash and the centrebox out, start by opening the centrebox and there shuld b a lil box on the bottom open it and there shuld b screws there. And they take that off.
Take out centre dash, for starters. Remove old unit. then find on the internet the wiring harness diagram to specify what each wire is then match this up with the wires on your sony stereo. hope this helps
