In general people are living longer because of knowlege about clean living and advances in medicine and other areas. There is much you can do to try to eat right, exercise, avoid things that harm your body that could cause premature death. But no one has a lock on avoiding everything to live longer. Accidents can happen anywhere at any time. Any one of us can be striken with a disease or life threatening illness at any time. Falling tree limbs when you walk in a park, a car accident even if you are a careful driver can happen. The Bible lets us know at Ecclesiastes 9:11 "I have sewn something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, BECAUSE TIME AND UNEXPECTED EVENTS OVERTAKE THEM ALL." So the best advice is live your life each day to love, be humble and kind, because you do not know what tomorrow will bring.
