When it detects the sugar in your blood. The sugar has to pass through your pancreas and it lets insulin out depending on how much sugar there is.
The control of blood glucose levels operates by what is known as a negative feedback mechanism. Here is a summary of the 2 control loops. When the blood glucose level goes upBlood sugar (glucose) rises; The pancreas detects the rise; The pancreas pumps out insulin into the blood;Insulin helps the uptake of glucose into muscles and other cells; This causes the blood glucose level to fall to its normal set point; andThe pancreas detects the fall and switches off insulin production. When the blood glucose level goes downBlood sugar (glucose) drops; The pancreas detects the drop in blood sugar; The pancreas switches on the output of glucagon into the blood;Glucagon signals the liver to break down glycogen into glucose; The liver releases glucose into the bloodstream;Blood glucose goes up to its normal set point; andThe pancreas detects the rise in blood sugar and switches off glucagon release.
My first question is why? If you are a type 2 diabetic and your pancreas does not produce enough insulin or a type 1 diabetic and it does not produce ANY in order to survive, then why would you want to ween yourself off of something that is vital to your survival???????????? without enough insulin your body cannot process the food you eat correctly the result of such an action of "weening" oneself off of insulin would be an extremely high level of sugar circulating in your bloodstream. You would quickly go into cardiac arrest and die! NOT SAFE A VERY BAD IDEA............If you are having these thoughts then I suggest you seek professional medical help to try and gain a clearer perspective on your situation......
There is no such type of diabetes. Type 1 is an autoimmune disease caused by your antibodies fighting off the insulin producing cells in your pancreas. Type 2 is caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Sugar does not cause it.
If the cut off from tube dialysis will be larger than the insulin shape, insulin cant pass through it
If taking insulin there could be a way for you to get off of them. You will have to get healthier.
not that i know of. i know that plants give off oxygen, but not sugar...
Pancreas is a small tube off the large intestine !!
Insulin is produced by the Islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. These are cells scattered throughout the pancreas, about a million of them in a healthy adult.Their are five different types of these cells. There are alpha cells which produce glucagon (it breaks glycogen down into blood sugar (glucose) when the blood sugar levels are low.Beta cells, which produce insulin (it aids the bodies cells in absorbing the blood glucose)Delta cells, which produce somatostatin, a tropic hormone (basically the off switch to the alpha and beta cells)PP Cells, Polypeptide cells of unknown importanceD1 cells, or Epsilon Cells, which produce ghrelin (the hormone that tells your brain it's time to eat.) It is the on switch where the hormone, leptin is the "I'm Hungry" off switch.
As far as we know.
as far as i know... the earth doesnt give off rays.
Well technically, every single human and all living things give off methane, including girls if you didn't know that, (no offense). So honestly, insects do give off methane.
This depends on the amount of glucose in your blood,"glycemia" if it's really low you should consider reducing the amount of insulin.
