As the accelerator is depressed with load on the engine: such as being in gear, engine speed will begin to increase. As the engine begins to require more air and fuel, the secondary air valve will begin to open. These valves are controlled by a choke pulloff vacuum canister which releases as vacuum in the intake drops. Then the suction of the engine will allow your air valves to open also causing fuel to be sucked into the engine through the secondaries. When these valves open, a cam that they are mounted to will lift the secondary metering rods higher out of the jets which allows fuel to pass more readily through the carburetor and into your engine. Cool sound!
to control the flow of air fuel mixture
A valve which requires pressurised air to operate (open or close) is known as pneumatic valve. A valve has a valve base through which the media (could be be air, liquid, steam, gas...) flows and a actuator mounted on the base which helps operate the valve. This actuator could be of pneumatic type. (or elctrically operated motorised type)
I am guessing you are talking about the air charging valve on the expansion tank. That is to charge air to the top side on the bladder which acts as a cushion and compresses to allow the water to expand due to being heated, preventing the relief valve reaching it`s setpoint and lifting.
There are many things that a valve grinder is used for. Typically, a valve grinder is used for helping a fuel air mixture to come in and to exhaust the burned gasses.
Reverses the flow of refrigerant through the system so it absorbs the heat from the outside ambient air and then rejects the heat through the evaporator and into your duct work.
The 2006 did not have one.
the secondary air injection system is the smog pump and valve. the valve is located on the exhaust manifold with 2 hoses leading to the smog pump which is located under the drivers side floor. it is electric.
Secondary Air Injection Valve
Quadrajets have a maximum airflow of from 750-800 cfm. Because the secondary side of the carb opens according to the airflow requirements of the engine, the same carburetor size can be used on a large range of engine sizes. The basic 750 cfm quadrajet casting is used from 231 CID to over 400 CID - the big secondary air valves open only as the engine breathes. For example, on a mild 350 Chevy the air valve will never open all the way - because the motor can't use more than 600 cfm or so. Your 307 will simply not require the full use of the secondary air valves, at no cost of engine power however. -DB, 1969 Hugger Orange Camaro
p0412 on a 2000 Malibu is secondary air injection system valve A malfunction-
Code P0412: Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Malfunction.
po414==secondary air injection system valve A CKT short!! no such code as p4014.
It is a secondary air injection system bypass/check valve for a 2006 Ford Focus.
the secondary air control valve is on the passengers side of the engine just under the air intake tube if you follow the m.a.s.s. wire back about three inchs the other two wires that are connected to them go straight to it it just above the exhuast manifold hope this helped you

The treadle (foot valve) moves downwards until the secondary air system can be actuated mechanically.
