because it gives you more spring and if you put your whole foot onto the floor then you lose speed but get more of a spring. I have tried both and running on my toes is much, much faster.

I think you mean toes. We have toes because they help us keep our balance as we walk and run. Try lifting your toes so they don't touch the ground, and run like that. It's hard isn't it? :)

I think that sometimes people don't run properly and instead of running on their their toes they run on their heels. This puts pressure on their ankle and it starts hurting. I recommend putting gel insoles in your shoe or running grass instead of asphalt.

Run everyday. No Excuses. Exactly right^^ Run everyday and you'll be better endurance wise and speed wise. But sometimes in basketball when we're doing suciedes(Running up and down the court.) I run on my tipe-toes and that makes me run faster. But I don't do it for long so I don't know if it will hurt if you do do it long. But I wouldn't recommend it. Holla! Im out, Fierce and Love♥

It doesn't, it helps cool the engine by running coolant through it and letting it air cool. The better the radiator = the better the cooling, thus making the engine more efficient.
Running on even surfaces is best.
