Social trends are a man's undoing. With a thirst to compete with the Joneses there is no stopping how far one can go. The unrest that we see today the world over is a result of

the ever changing scene that one sees in this area.

The trendy clothes one dresses, the food that one eats, the places that one sight sees, the houses that one lives in, the late night parties that one attends, the clubs one registers with, all to be trendy, fashionable, and to be in the 'in' crowd. But at what cost?

This mad rush to be there has an irreversible effect on ones health is an understatement. Each to his/her own but this statement is long forgotten and to be in line with society trends one needs to bend backwards to be there and this will surely have an impact on one's health both mentally and physically. It is no easy task to be an extrovert when one is not, it is no easy task to be fashionable when one does not have the means -- it is the wearer alone who knows where the shoe pinches. Nothing comes free - all this spending beyond ones means, doing things that do not come naturally to a person will have a heavy toll on ones health leading to serious ailments. Most of the ailments that we see today are all due to tension created in trying to be there where society defines a trendy socialite.

Early to bed and early to rise is for the squares not for the socialites.
