probably just burnt out bulbs
did you check the fuse?
You really can't turn it off. They sell bypass kits, but the passlock system has to be working in order for the bypass thing to work.
My Horn on my 1995 Oldsmobile Achiva does not work. How do I get it to work?
If the security light on the dash is not on when the car is running, it should work work. If there is a problem with the system the car more than likely will not run. The passlock system diables the fuel injectors if someone attempts to steel the vehicle.
You could do things like WD40, But I suggest you get another set from A dealer or salvage, The system used to make A seatbelt work is very fragile. Jamison.
See PASSLOCK on page 2-17 of your "Owner's Manual" under section 2 Features and Controls; Theft-Deterrent System.
change that calipers
No, they will not work well. The diameter of the tire is far over-sized (your speedometer will be 'way off, on the get-you-into-trouble side), and the higher (75%) aspect ratio will lead to relatively poor cornering performance.
You might need a new bulb. i had the same problem and it wasnt the bulb.. i never figured it out so i ran another switch to the lights and battery... a tuggle switch
It cuts fuel to the injectors if the ignition switch has been tampered with. Goes through a 10 amp fuse labeled "TBC." in the engine compartment fuse box.
Install a new BCM. The BCM may or may not allow the car to start before you enable the anti-theft by setting a passlock value. If it doesn't you might have to choose between allowing the anti-theft to work normally and having a car that runs.
