Well to put it bluntly, if everyone on the planet were to use the same amount amount of resources that the Americans use then we would need 4 Earths.

Americans are using up the world's resources at a great cost to third world countries. When you take into account slavery and theft, the western world owes Africa in the region of $1000 Trillion, that's right Trillion.
