The greater the altitude, the lower the air prassure.
Atmospheric pressure is greatest at the surface of the Earth because there is more air above pushing down. As you move higher in the atmosphere, there is less air above, resulting in lower atmospheric pressure. Gravity also plays a role in compressing the air molecules closer to the Earth's surface, increasing the pressure.
Force exerts pressure. For example: At the surface of the Earth the column of air in the atmosphere above an area has a mass that exerts a force (due to gravity) on that surface area.
Volume,Temperature and height above earth's surface
Diamonds are believed to be formed about 90 miles below the surface of the Earth, in the mantle. So, the weight of the Earth above them creates the pressure to form diamonds.
The Earth's surface has no arguable epicenter.
Pressure decreases
As you travel from the surface to the center of the Earth, pressure will increase enormously, because of the increasing weight of what is above you.
The air above it weighs it down.

Air pressure is caused by the weight of the atmosphere above an object. When one goes higher, there is less air above and so the pressure drops.
Air pressure is always greater nearer the earth surface than at altitude due to the mass of air above.
Because as you get closer to the surface of the earth, the more air that is on top of you. At the top of the atmosphere, there is no air, and everything is a vacuum, where you have no weight. When you get close to the earth, the weight of the air builds until it when you're at the very lowest point of the earths surface, all the air in the atmosphere above you is pressing down.
The air is thinner the higher you go.

I dont do science i am a more pe type
This is mainly do to the pressure that the water above the diver is putting on the diver. On the surface air is putting pressure on you but it has less weight than water and as you dive deeper the pressure increases because the amount of water above you also increases.
