What are Pieces of rock that actually strike Earth's surface called?

As a rock is falling through the atmosphere, it is a meteor. When it hits the earths surface, it is a meteoroid.

How does a strike slip fault lead to an earthquake?

An earthquake occurs deep in the earths crust caused by the displacement of two faults in the crust. Directly above the fault on the earths surface is called the epicenter. Which shows the aftermath of the strike slip fault that occured in the earths crust. So the strike slip fault is the effect of the displacement of the crust at that point deep in the earths crust which causes an earthquake to happen whenever there is a displacement of two faults.

What happens to temperature as the angle at which the suns rays strike the earths surface decreases?

it decreases... that's why the two poles are the coldest places on earth... however, considering the earth is a sphere the angle you are talking about is relative to the point on earth which you are referring to... therefore, there will always be a point on the earth's surface where the suns rays are hitting at exactly 90 degrees...

What happens to temperature as the angle at which the sun's rays strike the earths surface decreases?

Usually, as the angle of incidence of the sun's rays decrease (i.e. when the sun is nearer to the horizon than to the zenith) the temperature decreases.

When the suns rays strike the earths surface energy is absorbed or reflected?

How does earths surface and the structures on the surface change as result of an earthquake?

The surface of the Earth can be changed by resulting from outer space, like from a meteor strike.
