Get yourself a ratchet with a 1/2" head on it. There is a pully just below the alternator. It's on the end of an arm and has a squar hole in it. Place the ratchet head in the arm and push to the right the arm should move down and relies the pressure on the belt.

Doing that will release the tension of the belt and you can pull it off. Make sure you have the diagram under your hood so you remember which way it goes back on. I replaced my belt with a Gator brand, a little more money, maybe 45 bucks but a very very good belt.
