I cannot help you with pulling the door panel off, but I can help with fixing a loose mirror. The mirror is attached by two studs that come off of the mirror through the door. I just pulled that plastic piece loose that is held to the door with some barbed fasteners. There is a piece of foam inside the door. Pull that foam back gently and one of the nuts should be on the other side of the foam. I used a 13/32 socket on a straight driver and reinstalled the nut on the top stud. Like you I need to get the door panel off to get the other nut out of the bottom of the door. I hope that this helps.

Well if I am correct u have to take inside panel of door off and then there are four brackets that pin it to the doors frame then you go from there. hope I helped you and yes its alot of work You remove the Philips screw on the triangular plastic plate that covers the adjustment knob or handle that is used to adjust the mirror. After removing the screw you gently pull on the plastic triangular piece and it should come off. There will be a few nuts exposed now that need to be removed and the mirror should then come off. Install mirror in reverse order.
