The thorax (chest cavity) The abdomen (the belly cavity) Separated by the diaphragm.
A soft connective tissue found in bones is marrow.
The pleural cavity is the space between the pleura surrounding the lungs. The pleura is defined as the double folded membrane surrounding the lungs.
The retroperitoneal cavity is located immediately posterior to the abdominal cavity (behind). It contains the kidneys (and so also the adrenal glands), the pancreas, and the abdominal aorta and vena cava. The walls of the abdominal cavity are covered with a serous membrane, called the peritoneum, as are most internal organs. The fluid in the membrane protects these structures and reduces friction between the organs and the cavity walls as well as between the organs themselves. The retroperitoneal space is separated from the peritoneal space by this layer of membrane covering the anterior organs e.g. liver, stomach, intestines. Both spaces are within the abdominal cavity.
Spongy bone is the tissue that makes up the interior of bones; compact bone is the tissue that forms the surface of bones. In long bones, spongy bone forms the interior of the epiphyses; the diaphysis (shaft) consists of compact bone surrounding the central marrow cavity. Spongy bone can also be found in the rib slide (21). It contains large marrow spaces defined by shelves and spicules of bone. The inner space is lined by osteoblasts and osteoclasts (called the endosteum). Osteocytes can be seen in layers in adult spongy bone. Outside all of bone, is a connective tissue sheath called the periosteum. It contains inner layers of osteogenic cells that can give rise to osteoblasts and make new bone,.
Medullary Cavity
i don't think that's possible unles you take out some1s bone and roll it in candy to rot it teeth and bones are both about the same except our spit keeps our teeth clean Actually, its called the Medullary (marrow) cavity.
The function of the marrow cavity in bone is to produce more red and white blood cells. This is why some people with cancers and auto immune diseases will seek to have a bone marrow transplant.
Red bone marrow, which produces blood cells, is found in the spongy bone of long bones, such as the femur.
Cancellous bone, or spongy bone, has many open spaces and contains marrow. It is softer and weaker than compact bone.
Marrow
a marrow
a marrow
Bone marrow, more specifically yellow bone marrow.
It's called 'Bone Marrow' - Bone marrow is the flexible tissue found in the hollow interior of bones. In adults, the marrow in the larger bones produces new blood cells.
the bones are filled with bone marrow
The spaces between the trabeculae do contain red or yellow marrow. This depends on a person's age and on which bone it is.
