What happens in 'new moon'?

Isabella "Bella" Marie Swan is thrown an eighteenth birthday party by Alice and Edward Cullen, the vampire she loves, and his family. While unwrapping a gift, she gets a paper cut. And Edward's brother, Jasper, is overwhelmed by her blood's scent (because the Cullen's don't drink human blood and Jasper is their newest vegatarian) and tries to attack Bella. To keep her safe from vampires, Edward breaks up with Bella and he and his family leave Forks, Washington.

Bella becomes severly despressed and seeks comfort with Jacob Black, a cheerlful friend who eases her pain over losing Edward. Bella and Jacob develop a close friendship, and Bella soon realizes that thrill-seeking activities, such as riding a motorcycle, help her to remember Edward more clearly.

Meanwhile, Bella learns that Jacob is a werewolf and he and his fellow wolves begin protecting Bella from the vampire, Victoria, who seeks revenge for her mate, James, whom the Cullens killed in Twilight (the first book).

Meanwhile, a series of strange miscommunications leads Edward to believe that Bella has died. Distraught over her supposed death, Edward flies to Italy to provoke the Volturi, peace-keeping vampires who would be able to kill him.

Bella and Edward's sister, Alice, rush to Italy to save Edward, and arrive just in time to stop him. Before they leave Italy, the Volturi tell them that Bella, a human who knows of the existence of vampires, must either be killed or changed into a vampire. After they return to Forks, Edward explains to Bella that he only left to protect her, and she forgives him.

The book ends with the Cullens strongly voting in favor of Bella being transformed into a vampire after her graduation, at the very end Edward asks Bella to marry him. Then, this continues later on in Eclipse (the third book).

Jacob saves Bella from drowning, tells her that Harry had a heart attack, and takes her back to his house to rest after cliff-diving. They both fell asleep in his living room, and when she woke up before him, she was thinking about Juliet and Paris. She compared Paris to Jacob, Romeo to Edward, and Juliet to herself. She thought about what would've happened if Romeo, instead of marrying Juliet, had just disappeared, and if that had happened, what Juliet would have done. Billy interrupted her thoughts when he came home, but she continued to think about if it would be wrong to make Jacob happy. Jake drove her home, and when they got there, Jacob caught the scent of a vampire in Bella's house and he was going to drive her away, but Bella saw Carlisle's car and convinced Jacob that it was okay for her to go inside. So he left her, afraid a fight would break out because he was on their territory, and told Sam. And when she went inside her house, she saw that someone was there waiting for her. That's when the chapter ends.

Edward leaves Bella because he puts Bella in danger at her 18th birthday

Bella cuts her finger on a peice of wrapping paper jasper see's it and is trying to get the blood from Bella edward shoves her away and she lands into a table smashed glass cuts her arm badley emmet hold jasper down he then decides to leave Bella so she wont be in any more danger to her Bella is so upset that Edwards gone laurent the bad vampire who drinks blood finds her and trys to attack Bella but is unsucsefull however Jacob black thinks he's got Bella forever but his verry mistaken she then becomes a 'adrenline junkie' she neally gets killed by jumping of a cliff in water below her she see's Edward when she does things that are dangerous how ever Jacob saves her from drowning, edward thinks that Bella is dead and goes to the volturi so he can die to Bella finds out by Alice and goes to the place and saves Edward

balla gets i a car crash and is in a coma........edward was in the car with her....

she has gaping cuts and wounds all around her face spilling blood everywhere

edward trys to restain himself but she gets turned into a vampire......but its not a bad thing if he didnt she would have died by loss of blood and she was in a really bad coma so she wouldn't have woken up......

Bella jumps off a cliff and she keeps thinking she hears Edwards voice telling her no... but she does it anyway... she is so caught up in the moment when she falls she does not realize that there is a hurricane coming toward her... so when she jumps Jacob (shape-shifter) jumps in and saves her... since Alice can see stuff like that she thinks Bella dies... so she tells edward and edward pretends to be Carlisle and calls but that is in the next chapter... but Alice can not see other people like Jacob that saves her... Bella is starting to think about her and Jacob and relates it to Romeo and Juliet...

The beginning of Twilight: Bella Swan moves to Forks and meets Edward Cullen. He is intimidating yet gorgeous. He tries to avoid Bella for her own safety but can't do it. They begin to form a shaky friendship, with Bella becoming dazzled by Edward and in love.

The beginning of New Moon:

Bella Swan has a dream of her being a grandma whilst Edward Cullen stays in his beautiful 17 year old self. She wakes up to find that it is her birthday and doesn't want to be wished "Happy Birthday!" Edward does as she says and ignores her birthday for her. Later on, she wants to drive her car so she says its her birthday. Alice invites her to her house for a birthday party but she doesn't go. Edward takes her to the party and she gets a paper cut. Jasper becomes incontrollable with thirst. After that, Edward becomes silent and cold. He stays like that for a couple of days and then he goes for a walk with Bella, and tells her that he doesn't want her anymore.
