It really depends on the tv. Look at them in the stores and compare the picture quality. Sony happens to be a very good brand when it comes to picture quality. It depends on the specs though.
There are many different television companies sell 50 inch lcd hdtv's. LG, in addition to Sony and Samsung, has a wide variety of lcd hdtv's available.
In my humble opinion Samsung makes the best TVs in their price class. I have never seen a bad Samsung. They have become a leader in the HDTV industry and Samsung actually makes Sony's LCD panels for them.
Akai TVs are ok. They are certainly not the best. They do not compare to Sony and Samsung TVs but the are very adequate and would be a good addition to your house.
The decision to purchase a Sony or Panasonic HDTV is very personal but I personally own the Sony 42inch HDTV and it has been a great Television in our home.
Yes, this is a top quality product.
The Sony 40 inch HDTV has a 40 inch screen, four HD inputs, a USB input, a Clear Resolution Enhancer, Digital Noise Reduction, and 1080p picture quality.
There are a lot of options for HDTV but the top rated ones are Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, Seiki, and LG. There are many more of course, but these received the highest ratings.
They are certainly one of the best tvs on the market however sony and lg also provide top quality flat screen tvs that also have 3d comptability and 1020p hdtv.
If you want the best HDTV for your convenience, purchase a 40 inches or larger with 1080p resolution, which is 1920 by 1080 pixels television. Choose the brand you want either Sony, Samsung or LG.
This is a settings issue. It has also occurred with Samsung televisions. Find a Sony website that has a forums section and post your question there with your model number.
The Samsung is better.
