A Triceratops's name means "three horned face." There are two long, sharp horns located above each eye and one short horn on it's nose. The Triceratops weighednine tons and measured about thirty feet long. It was ten feet at it's hips.

Triceratops lived in herds during the Cretaceous Period in Western North America. Plants such as Palms, Crycads and Ferns were part of the Triceratops's diet.

they had three horns on a big plate on their neck. that plate was used to protect their backs and necks. they were quiet big too if you need help to know what they looked like in detail you can go on Google images and type in triceratops.
